Welcome to the Internet Entertainment and Business site.  The internet as a resource for entertainment is easily the most expanded and complete option of the past several years to keep all ages of the population entertained.  If you have access to the internet by way of your computer; games, music, and movies can be easily downloaded.  Downloaded items are often through a site that allows you access for a single fee annually.  Therefore, if the site is current and upgraded weekly and/or daily, the subscribers can feel that they are getting their money’s worth.  They can be on the cutting edge of all new software, etc.

A few of the interesting areas that the teenager and younger population seem to be seeking are games and research information for special assignment school reports.  The internet has many search engines that help all computer users find the websites that are relative to the information they are looking for.  Hopefully, this doesn’t encourage plagiarism but educates the searcher about the subject so they can write an exceptional original report.  They can do this in the comfort of their own home instead of having to go to the library for the same or lesser result.

Adult interest frequently is centered in both entertainment and business.  Many purchases are completed on internet sites because shopping is as close as your keypad and computer display.  Many people have used internet research search engines and the sites found through them to purchase items they need that are similar or exact and priced lower.  Items purchased over the internet include vitamins, ink cartridges, computers, computer displays, used automobiles, cell phones, movies, electronic books, sports equipment, groceries, and clothing.  Once someone finds a site that they are very happy with, they are not bashful in telling their friends about it.

Music downloads are massive and artists and companies that provide that capability are always claiming that they are not being paid enough for their songs, etc.  It is not very often that I don’t see someone, principally youngsters, with ear speakers in their ears and wires from them going to some playing device.  I say playing device since I don’t have the knowledge of what many of them are called by name.

Movie companies that have physical store fronts and rent DVD movie discs are being closed due to them being unable to make a profit.  The rental dispensers that are open 24/7 are being used by a very large percentage of the movie buffs.  Their low cost and round the clock availability are too much to compete with.  A customer just needs to have a credit card and a email address to complete a transaction.  You then have the movie to view in the comfort of your own home.  Even the neighborhood and local theaters have been going out of business.  The principal theaters that seem to be making a good profit are the large multi-screen ones that are usually built in malls and shopping centers.   Websites that provide downloads and access to some of the above mentioned areas of entertainment and businessi are going strong. For a one-time fee of $49.95, the cost is manageable and the large potential offering for one price seems to be what the purchasing public wants.

Computers of the persons who use them but do not have any idea how they operate and what is possibly wrong with them when they malfunction are many.  So when help exists over the internet, this is only one possibility to utilize to correct the malfunction.  Another possible way to get help is to take the computer into a company that specializes in correcting computer operating systems and software that no longer operates in a state that is considered normal.  When it is necessary to load new or similar software to correct files that have been corrupted or invaded by viruses and or malware, most of the time an expert in computer programming, etc. is needed.  Most computer users similar to me are only able to utilize and recognize problems at the most elementary level.  Computer fixes are then very difficult.

Downloads of music and movies seem to be the most desired entertainment types for the everyday computer jockey.  I used the words computer jockey because it seems appropriate.  The computer jockey of today is most familiar with the keyboard and computer screen display.  But that is all anyone needs today to find music they enjoy listening to and movies they would like to see.  Today I see many people who have a small speaker in their ear listening to music.  When you speak to them they seldom hear you because they are enjoying the music.

Today movies can be downloaded from your computer over the internet and transferred to your HD TV for viewing in the comfort of your living room couch.  Many families prefer this and the entire family can watch the movie without paying for each person at a movie theatre.  This is gaining popularity.

Computer Games

Game players who enjoy this activity can find new games to play by searching the internet and paying a fee to download the software for them.  I personally don’t like the computer game type of entertainment, but there is a group of game players which is a large number of today’s computer users.

Computer Software Upgrade

Software upgrades for even the word processors, spread sheets, pdf files, and areas of computer files that can be corrupted by going out on the internet are frequently available and you are warned that if you don’t upgrade something bad will happen to your computer.  When I get these messages, I’m reluctant to not upgrade due to the warning.  I can truthfully say that seldom does anything terrible happen if I do not heed the warning and upgrade but the uneasiness still exists.  The other aspect to the need for software upgrades is when a new version of some software type hits the market.  Then we all have to judge if the newer version will be the improvement they advertise and something we want.

Every time a computer malfunctions, the thought comes up about whether or not to buy a new computer or have the old one repaired.  I came to the possibility of that very decision and decided to buy new.  After you’ve had the computer you’re using for several years, the necessity of purchasing new becomes important.  The major operating parts of the computer can no longer function properly with the new software in existence.  I am sure that the new software being better in many ways is too powerful for the older computer’s memory capacity and functioning processor of today.  I had the problem of trying to buy memory for my old computer and found out it was no longer available and or manufactured.  The options are then clear.  Buy new!

Just like every other area of modern electronic devices, HDTV’s, cell phones, note pads, and computers, the newest electronic chips are more powerful from an information concept than even several months before.  All manufacturing electronic companies are in a very competitive mode and try to introduce something new to this market to get the profit before their competitor does.  Newest and quickest to market is what they all try for!
